  • When you receive your new digital camera, ALWAYS READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK first!
 
  • Learn how to charge the battery and load it into your camera.
 
  • Learn how to mount the lens on the camera (Note: when you mount the lens, your camera must be OFF).
 
  • Learn how to RELEASE the lens (again, when you detach the lens from the camera; the camera must be OFF).
 
  • Learn how to insert the memory card into the camera (IMPORTANT: when you insert the memory card into the camera, the camera must be OFF).
 
  • Learn how to EJECT the memory card from the camera (again, your camera must be OFF when you eject the memory card out).
 
  • NEVER TOUCH THE SURFACE OF THE LENS WITH YOUR FINGERS OR WITH ANY OTHER OBJECTS (if the lens is dirty, your photos may not come out sharp and contrasty!).
 
  • NEVER touch the mirror inside the camera body!
 
  • NEVER INSERT YOUR FINGER INSIDE THE CAMERA BODY!
