Wanted: poi/fire twirling

I have been teaching myself some moves with the poi and would like to move on to fire twirling once i have more skills.  Just wondering if anyone would like to catch up socially and share skills or if anyone knows of any fire twirling social events where you can watch learn and practice.

None of my friends see the fun and challenge in it as I do!! :)

I am a 28 year old female who lives on the east side of brisbane.
