What: Fire Twirling Poi and Staff for Beginners and Intermediates

When: Wednesdays 11th, 18th, 25th of November, and 2nd of December
Cost: $80
The course runs for 4 consecutive Wednesdays and is an exploration of Poi and Staff for complete beginners to intermediate students. COURSE STRUCTURE: (2 Instructors)
Beginners – Instructor Ciara Thorburn
Week 1 – Introduction to Poi
Week 2 – Introduction to Staff
Week 3 - Choose your favourite toy, Poi/Staff, learning new techniques
Week 4 – Fire, outdoor location, Fire Safety and Lighting up!
Intermediate – Instructor Sam Stabler
Intermediate Workshops will have a primary focus on Intermediate Poi and Intermediate Staff, refining technique and learning new moves.
Other areas of interest will also be addressed during the session according to class interest.
WHEN: Wednesdays 7-8pm
Course runs for 4 weeks, starting on the beginning Wednesday of each month in 2009.
WHERE:
Southbank Piazza Amphitheatre, Southbank Parklands. Stanley St, South Brisbane. Right next to South Brisbane Train Station and the QPAC Bus Station.
COST: $80 for the course.
