This year's BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Reef Festival is on from the 15th - 18th October 2009. With activities all over Airlie Beach, this is the only place to be on the east coast of Australia this coming weekend.
 
There is free live music, carnival rides, fireworks, family fun day, movies at the lagoon, market stalls and more.
 
There is lots of free stuff as the Airlie Beach precinct comes alive for the entire weekend. What better place for a party but beside the 74 islands of the Whitsundays in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, home of the Best Job in the World.
