I'm a 27yo Male and I've been with my partner for over 3 years. We've never really talked about marriage, children and the future.

I'm a planner and always look to the future, although I think I've been so focused on the future that I forgot to think about the now.

My GF has left me for a 'break' to think about what she wants, after confessing to me that I had taken too long to propose to her.

We have little in common but get along so well. Like opposites attract, things are better when we pool our strengths. The problem is we don't have a lot of hobbies or interest that we share other than eachother.

We're the envy of our friends as together we have been through a lot and still act like a new couple. My libido is much less than hers however, and it's coused her to start feeling insecure and threatened.

I'm now so numb I don't know how to feel while she is away. It's got me thinking that if she decides she wants to work on our relationship, that we still have no common interests.

I'm right at the crossroads now and don't know which way to go.

Any ideas?
