Hello to all! My name is Tom and I come from some country called Wales. I'm driving from Brisbane to Sydney starting about 5th November and have room for one person to come along with me.
If you are only going part of the way then I may be able to help out. If you tell me exactly where you want to go from and to then I'll let you know if I can and the dates that would be.
I'm planning on just going straight there, only stopping for breaks and sleep, and some photos. Hopefully the drive will be done in five days. I'm sleeping in the car, but to make things easier whoever comes with me I'd rather sleep in a tent. I have got one, but I don't think it's in good enough condition to use. I'll update the ad when I know if it is or not.
I only want one person because I don't think there'd be enough room for mine and two other people's things. If there are two of you, message anyway and we might be able to work that out.
I don't mind if you don't have a license, obviously that would be good though. Even better if you have one and will drive at night. But whatever, I don't mind doing all the driving.
Like I said, I'll be sleeping in the car, and whoever comes with me in a tent. That means we'll be stopping at rest stops on the freeway to sleep, which means they'll be no cost for places to stay. I've got a gas stove and BBQ, so cooking is doable whenever. I've got a cooling box too. For showers it'll either be the beach or just walking into a random hostel to do it.
My car stereo can have MP3 players hooked into it, and I don't mind listening to what you have. I've got plenty of music myself too.
The car has a roof rack, so if you have anything like surfboards that's fine.
The AC needs a recharge at the moment, so it's out of action. It's not so bad with the windows open on the freeway though.
To give you an idea of cost, it shouldn't be more than $100 (Note- you may have read this already and I had put $200. Bit of a typo there! It's defo less than $100), and will more than likely be quite a bit less.
