Here at Borders, we support our local artistic talent. So every month, we showcase an artist & his/her works.

For November, we welcome Kathy Panton - an artist who specialises in children's artwork & story books. Looking at Kathy's works is like wandering through a rainbow - with creations limited by her imagination!

As a child, Kathy loved the picture book - Bears in the Night - and would always act in out with her sister in the yard. As an adult, Kathy has created books inspired by those memories to pass on the delights of being a child to other children.

But don't take our word for it - come on down during the store's trading hours in November in the children's department to have a look! Kathy's works are also for sale so think Christmas gifts!

Also, you can meet Kathy in person on Saturday 28 November from 2pm & chat with her about her works & inspirations.
