With a global presence and an established reputation, this Engineering consultancy is the known specialist within their field. The Australian arm of this Company has grown organically 20% year on year for the past 10 years and is well-positioned to continue on this course of organic growth.
 
 
 
The Role
 
Reporting to both the Australian General Manager and the CFO (internationally), the Company Accountant will be responsible for all Financial aspects of the Australian business. Primarily, these responsibilities will include:
 
 
  • EOM reporting
  • All statutory reporting requirements
  • Production of Management reports
  • Cash flow management
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Payroll

The Company Accountant will liaise with the four Australian offices and work closely with each of the four office Managers. The company accountant will also liaise closely with the Australian General Manager as well as each of the Project Managers. 

 
 
 
Your Profile
 
You will be an experienced accountant from an engineering consulting background. You will be very comfortable with Work in Progress and be able to lead the finance function within a driven and competitive environment. You will be highly technically competent and be able to speak up and address inaccuracies and discrepancies. You will be driven to work within an established international Group as well as being comfortable in reporting internationally to the CFO.
