Our client is committed to their people and with continued growth in their industry, they wish to enhance their Accounts team with a em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;">passionate/em> Financial Accountant to ensure the business produces accurate financial reports to meet regulatory and stakeholder requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Production of timely and accurate monthly financial reports

Ensure all external reporting is completed accurately and by deadline.

Manage the end-to-end annual audit process including the production of the statutory accounts.

Ensure the adequacy of internal accounting controls.

Contribute to the budget process

Supervise 1 Accounts Payable and 1 Accounts Receivable member.

This is a diverse and challenging role and will require a relevant Accounting undergraduate degree and/or postgraduate study leading to the designation of CPA or Chartered Accountant.

It is vital you have current knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation law, a minimum of 2 years experience in a corporate accounting environment and advanced MSOffice skills, in particular Excel and Access.

Your high attention to detail, written and verbal communication, excellent time management and problem solving skills, will then ensure you add value to this position and the team, with exposure to Axapta or large ERP systems a definite advantage.
