We assist a number of accounting practices throughout Brisbane to recruit accountants in a range of specialty areas.

At the moment we're assisting an accounting practice to grow it's Insolvency team...

Ideally suited to a senior accountant with at least a few years experience in insolvency, this position would offer a great career step for someone looking for an opportunity to join a larger-scale accounting practice that has fabulous resources and the capacity to offer significant growth over the foreseeable next few years.

A typical day in this role will see you:

Handling a varied assignments including liquidations, voluntary and involuntary administrations and trade ons
Conducting a range investigations into company affairs including identification of voidable transactions, insolvent trading and fraud
Assessing retention of title claims, preference investigations, creditors claims and recoveries
Arranging the sale of company assets
Preparing reports and correspondence with varied levels of complexity
Assessing employee entitlements and redundancies (GEERS)
Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of less experienced staff
