This well known resources group has gone through significant change and extraordinary growth over the past few years and has positioned itself for continued expansion over the next five to ten years.    From its inception, they have aligned themselves to become an integrated supplier of its product for years to come. Due to this growth, and a system upgrade a need has been created for a Senior Joint Venture Accountant.
 
 
 
The Role
 
Reporting to the Head of JV Business Reporting area, you will be responsible for preparing and management of Joint Venture accounting processes for the group and its joint ventures.  Specifically you will be responsible for the set up and monitoring of accounting processes, internal controls and reporting structure for the Production & Operations Joint Ventures.  You will also be responsible for preparing the annual budget and forecasts.  As the business expands, you will also be assisting the set up of new joint venture entities.
 
 
 
Your Profile
 
As the Senior Joint Venture Accountant, you are a qualified accountant with extensive experience working in an operational accounting environment.  As this is a joint venture focused role, previous Joint Venture Management Accounting experience will be highly regarded. Prior experience within the resources industry would be desirable but not essential.  As this is a broad role, you will need to have the ability to hit tight deadlines, think on your feet and be able to work closely with key operational stakeholders.
