I am looking for an Accountant's role in any organisation. I have been jobless for the past 6 months. Currently, I am working towards my CPA. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Business from the University of Southern Queensland in Semester 1, 2009. I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1997 from India.
 
Having worked in four different countries, I possess a very strong background in Accounting. I have 18 months of experience in taxation and 8 years in commercial accounting. My work experience include working for 2 Accounting firms in Nerang and Charleville as Intermediate Accountant, Financial consultant for Charleville Neighbourhood Centre, Resort Accountant for Outrigger Palm Cove in Cairns,  Financial Administrator for Hamilton Childcare Services Trust in New Zealand, Financial Controller for Outrigger Marshall Islands Resort, Business Office Accountant, Accounts Payable Supervisor and Financial Accountant for  Pacific Marshalls Inc in the Marshall Islands for a period of 4 years. I started off my career as an Insurance Officer and then Accounts and Administration Officer in Fiji.
 
I am hardworking, versatile, organized and perform my tasks diligently. I am able to demonstrate my competencies within a short time and I am also available for an immediate start. If given an opportunity, I am willing to work for the first 5 days without pay. I am indeed very desperate to get back in the accounting workforce.
