You are an experienced Electrical Design Draftsman that is looking to join a solid organisation with a strong track record of success in industrial markets.  You enjoy taking responsibility for the switchboard designs you do and take pride in improving your competence and technical expertise.  In this role you will be joining an Australian owned company with offices in all capital cities. 

 
 
This organisation is able to offer their clients a full range of quality services including electrical contracting, switchboard manufacturing specialising in motor control, engineering, control systems, telemetry systems, SCADA, water treatment, pumping stations and both commercial and industrial electrical refrigeration and air-conditioning. 
 
 
Your primary responsibilities will include electrical design and drafting, equipment selection, client and supplier liaison and the final handover of the completed design to manufacturing.  Your performance will be measured on your ability to complete designs in a timely manner combined with minimal errors requiring revisions and adjustments.  In essence you should be fast and accurate and have the capacity to work within a close knit team.
 
 
To be successful it is essential that you are able to read and interpret schematics and single line diagrams and are competent with AutoCAD.  It is also essential that applicants have strong communication skills as you will have regular dealings with both internal and external customers.
