This leading national infrastructure organisation, based in the southern region of Brisbane, offers end to end solutions from design through to commissioning for government asset providers. Their specialist areas include the installation of transmission and distribution electricity networks, design and construction of overhead and underground assets as well as design and construction for substations and high voltage transmission lines.

They currently have a requirement for an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to estimate for 133kv overhead line work in their transmission team.

Reporting to the estimations manager your responsibilities will include:

·         Working as a team managing the tender process  in conjunction with the bid manager, commercial manager and estimations manager

·         Developing a tender through detailed estimates and data input

·         Identifying project risk and quotes to be obtained from the subcontractor

·         Working in compliance with state power authority standards

The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years experience working as an electrical estimator tendering for overhead line works above 110kv. The ideal applicant will come from a trade background and will have developed their estimating skills through site experience moving into an estimating role
