Date Listed: 17/07/2008 Hello everybody, After using the Up King Pro exercise equipment sold through Channel 7 TV in Sydney, I developed a buldging disc causing me paralysis. I had an operation at the Royal North Shore Hospital, where I met my room mate who also just had a spine operation. She asked me what caused my injury, and I told her how it started after using the Ab King Pro machine. She was astounded as she also admitted that she experienced her back problems for the first time after buying and using the Ab King Pro Exercise equipment. We both admitted that we were embarassed to admit it to others as we felt naive and stupit for believing their ads -that it supports the back, that only requires a few minutes work out a day etc-. There was nothing else to it until the hospital physio told us to ring up channel 7 and complain about it. Young mothers who just had babies would be very keen to buy such an equipment to work their abdominal muscles and that could cause them serious injuries as well. Another acquaintance of mine also told me that her and her daughter bought the Ab King Pro and as they also experienced back pains they returned it. They did not require operation as their back recovered after few weeks. I am sharing my experience with you and hope that you can email me to let me know if you or your friends had similar experience with the Ab King Pro as the company now took my complain and to ld me that they will process it through their insurance for some compensation.
