So... details. *My name is Cammryne *I'm from California on a Holiday-Work visa this next year & living with a friend from the area (went to my Uni for a semester back home & became good friends) *23 years old * Worked in After-school with ages 5-18 the past 3 years *Will be working at YMCA Dutton Park & Hill End Childcare starting next week * Would like to nanny on the weekends * Don't have a vehicle but am a fan of city transportation *Live in the West End area * Like to do messy, fun, science experiments with kids, kind of my thing.

I understand the importance of a child taking a liking to/feeling safe with an unknown adult, so pre-meetings face-to-face are a good way to go. I seem to click well with "troubled" (don't like that word, but to get my point across) kids, quiet kids, shy kids; I was all of that growing up. I really respect kids for their perception of life as they grow & experience things for themselves; kids keep you honest. I feel like some adults see children as "little people" & don't respect their opinions & intelligence; that tends to bother me. I've said "I" enough to feel self-involved, so that's all.
