We are looking for a permanent part time nanny/house manager to work flexible hours to help care for our family of four vibrant, active children. We have the capacity to have a live in nanny for the right applicant. The position would be based in our home at Hamilton with some time spent in our home at Noosa (holidays and some weekends).

We have two school aged girls aged 7 and 5 and two little boys at home aged 2 and 9 months.

A typical week may look like the following:

* Monday 0700 - 1900 (Long day only on 2 out of 4 mondays to cover the 2 days a month that I work)
* Tuesday 1400 - 1900
* Wednesday 1400 - 1900 or 0900 - 1900
* Thursday 1400 - 2200
* Friday OFF or 0930 - 1530
Weekends by negotiation.

Minimum of 30 hours per week. Pay rate commensurate with experience.

I am largely at home but need assistance in the afternoons with the school/day care runs, after school activities, meals, bathing etc to allow me time to help the girls with their homework, reading, singing practise. Basically, an extra pair of hands during the witching hours!! There will be days, however, where you would have sole charge of any or all of the children. During the day the job would involve caring for the boys, school and day care drop offs and pick ups, taking boys to the park or swimming lessons, helping with the laundry and folding, meal preparation, tidying of children's areas, errands and grocery shopping on occasions.

We will provide a fully maintained vehicle for you to use during working hours.

There would be some weekend, overnight work and overseas travel for school holidays with the children.

We require an active nanny who preferably has nanny or early childhood qualifications, has current references, is highly organised and efficient, shows initiative, is patient and loving, has a great sense of humour and capable of confidently handling four children and still being able to smile!
