Due to this growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced internal communications professional who will be instrumental in developing and executing internal and stakeholder communications.

Reporting to the Manager - Human Resources, this pivotal role will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the organisations internal communication strategy and plan. This will include responsibilities such as managing internal corporate communication channels, identifying opportunities to improve internal communications, developing innovative communication channels, and meeting the ultimate goal of engaging the organisation.

Desirable experience/knowledge/commitments:

1. Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations Or similar field Or equivalent work experience in a related field.
2. A strategic and visionary understanding of communications.
3. Excellent professional communication skills, both oral & written (Copy writing experience will be highly regarded).
4. Demonstrated effectiveness in engaging people and building relationships to achieve goals and objectives.
5. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to process and prioritise data, and meet deadlines.
6. Demonstrated ability to develop reports and research, analyse and collate information in a comprehensive and succinct format tailored to the audience.
7. Knowledge/proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, FrontPage, Access, and Internet Browsers).
8. Ability to work independently and show initiative and self-motivation.
9. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the organisation’s values and mission.
10. Professional in appearance and action.
11. Value diversity and differing opinions.
12. External agency management experience would be highly regarded but not essential.
