This is Percival and he is need of a forever home. He has been a stray for over 8 weeks, and for the last 3 weeks has been living at a veterinary surgery. With no collar, tag or microchip an owner has not been able to be contacted, and no one has turned up to claim him even after advertising him as a found cat on all of the appropriate databases (RSPCA, BCC, local vets).
He cannot live in the hospital cages forever so we are hoping that somebody out there is looking for a mature (approximately 5 year old) cat that is past the kitten stage. He is a beautiful boy who loves affection, he never stops purring (even when he's eating!) and is entirely litter trained. He was desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, FIV tested (negative), wormed and de-flea'd last week. So far he has shown that he is quite afraid of dogs, especially large, but he is getting used to smaller ones. He does not like other cats very much so if you are a cat free household then he may be perfect for you!
We really want to find him a responsible owner who will look after him, so if you're thinking of getting a cat, remember that they can live for up to 20 years sometimes, so you have to be committed from day one!
