We are very sad to have to do this, but we have a beautiful male Ridgeback/Lab/Rottweiler available free to a good home. I would advise that you should have either adult children or no children. He is the jealous type, and wants to be the only one for your affections. We have had a baby and he is showing signs of trying to be 'top dog ' - to quote Caesar Milan! over her, which we are uncomfortable about.

The labrador in him unfortunately I think is what gives him this jealousy. However, he has once or twice run at the screen at her, luckily she was on the inside. He does nothing but try to lick her when we are outside with her, but I don't want to risk it.

He is a beautiful dog in every other way, he will not dig, he will not get your clothes off the line like so many do, he will sit on command, he will give you any attention you give him in return tenfold. So I would recommend him to couples/singles without children or with adult children only. He responds well to adults.

We have had him for three years now and never had a problem, I can only think that it is jealousy of the baby. He does like to be walked and played with, so if you're into keeping fit, then he'd be great for you!

He will be four at the start of December, has had all his vaccinations, has been desexed, and is in good health. He would weigh approximately 50 kgs now, so he is a large dog, but non-threatening in any way towards adults/owners.
