A beautiful flower jug/pitcher/ewer by Carlton Ware in the yellow colourway which was introduced in the late 1930's.  It has the number 1765 impressed to the base.
 
It is in excellent condition, having no repairs, chips, cracks or stains, but has very minor crazing which is typical of a piece of this age.
 
Dimensions - 25½ cms high, 15½ cms handle to spout (measurements are approximate)
