From my 1950-60's childhood comes these old teddy bears, they have had lots of love, mohair has given way to may bald patches which give them heaps of personality plus......
First one is fully jointed, soft filled, brown velveteen paw pads, and inner ears, (originals) he has amber glass eyes and lots of balding patches which give each bear their personality, he was secondhand when I got him, so his correct age is hard to establish same as his brother, but they are both old and unfortunately due to adding an item to my already over run collection of childhood toys, has meant that I can't keep all my old bears....... but I want them to go to a good and loving home and I hope thats you.
this first boy or girl (you deceide) is approx 14 inches long has lots of love to give and would suit any antique or collectable bear collection
his "baby brother or sister" in yellow is the same vintage, same velveteen paws, smaller darker eyes, ears are bigger and appears a bit grumpy, also fully jointed and had lots of love, slightly smaller than big one, 13 inches high, I think one is Australian and one NZ but don't hold me to it !!
They have lived with me a long time and I am very sorry to say goodbye to them, but I can only keep so much and they must go,
I am only asking $50 each for them, so if your a collector of old bears you know thats a crazy price for a pair of oldies, if they don't sell for this they will stay with me regardless if I have to pack them away (which seems sad) I also have some other old ones I will list soon...... unfortunately the new house is smaller than this one !!
both been kept in my personal collection, but sadly it must be downsized before our move and they must find a new loving home
