I really don't know much about it, but it's a huge thing and comes with a variety of eye pieces. It's very powerful too! I know that it was originally purchased for $750.00 and it's still brand new, so $250 seems reasonable. There is a very slight dent on one side of it, but it doesn't affect the operation of the telescope in any way. Trust me, I've used it. The tripod link (that holds the three legs together) has snapped, but the telescope still stands up perfectly well on its own. I live in Paddington and am happy to deliver it to you if you live at a reasonable distance from me.
