Hi,
I am trying to get a dozen sewing machines together so I can teach teenages how to sew for free. (So far I've managed to find one)
I have all the skills I need but no sewing machines and no way to finance machines.
If you have a spare machine tucked away somewhere that you don't need any more, please consider donating it.
Once the kids are competent sewers I plan to give them the machine that they've learnt on so they can continue to sew, hopefully for many years to come.
If you are in a position where you can help (even with thread, servicing, tag-and-test or fabric etc) please, please contact me.
Any and all help will be appreciated and very gratefully received.
