I have a room available from 23 Nov 2009. The rent is 160AUD/week included everything. A lady will come every 2 weeks to clean the house. There is a bus stop right in front of the house, bus 412 and 402 go to city. It takes abt 20min to walk to UQ and 12 mins to Toowong shoping centre. My lease is end on 3 Feb 2010 so you can extend the lease or move out on that day. You will share the house with 4 Aussie, 2 American, 1 Canadian, 1 Peru and 1 Singaporean. They are very friendly and easy going. I have a very good time here but will go back to my country.
